After nearly twenty years in the corporate world, Mary received a Master’s Degree in Theology/Spirituality from the College of St. Catherine in May, 2002. She also has been trained as a Cancer Guide and as a Mind, Body Skills facilitator by the Center for Mind Body Medicine in Washington, D.C.
As a result of her own experience as a breast cancer survivor, Mary co-founded and is President of Well Within, a nonprofit holistic wellness resource center St. Paul, MN. Well Within provides low cost/free integrative healing support, services, classes and Outreach programs to people seeking healing of mind, body and spirit, and to anyone seeking overall wellbeing. A spiritual director, Mary loves to give retreats, workshops and presentations, including about her book, Thin Places: Where Faith is Affirmed and Hope Dwells. At Well Within, she facilitates an ongoing Integrative Healing Support Group for Women with Cancer. A portion of Mary’s book sales are donated to Well Within.
